LA GADOUE workshop

Eloïse and Audrey met at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, and their friendship and shared vision inspired them to open their studio in Brussels.

Defining themselves as designers and craftswomen, they seek to push back the boundaries of creation by hijacking craft and industrial techniques.

In a world where raw materials are in short supply, they cannot conceive of creating without reusing, diverting or recycling what already exists.

They express themselves through textiles and ceramics.

For Collectible, LA GADOUE presents a new direction in their textile research.

They introduced vegetable dyeing to ennoble white linen scraps collected from garment workshops. Successive baths of indigo create the infinite nuances of this blue veil that filters daylight.
