Bilboquet Lamp - Olivier Vitry - Claisse Design

Bilboquet Lamp is a reinterpretation of the bilboquet. The lamp is contained in a ball and, as in the game, is fitted onto a base through a hole in the sphere.

Unlike the game, the ball has not just one, but eight holes, allowing the lamp to be oriented in different directions. The ball is crafted in walnut to evoke the hand-turned wood from which the bilboquet originated, or in bichromate steel to reflect the light through this interesting iridescent finish.
