Eloïse et Audrey se sont rencontrées à la Design Academy d’Eindhoven, une amitié et une vision commune leur ont donné envie d’ouvrir leur atelier à Bruxelles.

Se définissant comme designers et artisanes, elles cherchent à repousser les limites de la création en détournant des techniques artisanales et industrielles.

Dans un monde où les matières premières viennent à manquer, elles ne conçoivent pas de créer sans réutiliser, détourner ou recycler l’existant.

C’est avec le textile et la céramique qu’elles s’expriment.

Pour Collectible, LA GADOUE présente une nouvelle direction de leur recherche textile.

Elles introduisent la teinture végétale pour ennoblir des chutes de lin blanc collectées dans des ateliers de confection. Les bains successifs d’indigo créent les infinies nuances de ce voile bleu qui filtre la lumière du jour.
